NEW YORK (AP) —Jersey Girl Sports fam, have no NFL players learned from Plaxico Burress? Apparently this player missed the memo.
Tampa Bay Buccannears’ defensive end Da’Quan Bowers was arraigned Monday on charges of criminal possession of a weapon and posted $10,000 bond. According to Yahoo! Sports, Bowers was arrested at LaGuardia Airport as he was about to board a US Airways flight to Raleigh, N.C. Authorities say the .40-caliber weapon was found during a search of his carry-on bag.
Really, dude? REALLY!! Plaxico Burress was arrested on this is the same charge in 2008, and his NFL career has never been the same.
It will never make sense to me why NFL players continue to make the same mistakes as their predecessors. It’s as if they’re numb to learning from the mistakes of others.
Either that or they refuse to learn.
