After he flew into the end zone and then celebrated with the “beanie-weanie” victory dance during Super Bowl XLVII, it’s no surprise that Baltimore Ravens’ receiver Jacoby Jones will be on the 16th season of “Dancing With The Stars”.

It was announced Sunday night, with the rest of the cast to be announced Tuesday on “Good Morning America“. According to,

‘Jones previously expressed interest in competing on “Dancing With the Stars.” Asked on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” earlier this month if he wanted to be on the cast, Jones said, “Oh yes sir … I’ll get it done. I’ll get it done, baby.”‘

Jones is not the first NFL player to dance on this hit show. He now joins an elite group of NFL players and winners including former Dallas Cowboys running back Emmitt Smith, former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver, and former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward.

I hope he gets to do the “beanie-weanie” again. Bow! Bow! (You’d have to be from Louisiana to understand this) 🙂
