Big Ben Has Serious Rib Injury and Is Questionable For Return
Steeler’s quarterback Ben Roesthlisberger was knocked out of the Steelers-Chiefs game when he severely sprained his shoulder. The original diagnosis was much worse with fears he would have to undergo surgery for dislocated shoulder. However, this is no longer required.
Now it’s been discovered that he also dislocated a rib and doctors are concerned the rib could potentially cut into his aorta.
The rib injury makes his return before the season end questionable. Back-up quarteback Byron Leftwich will start in Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.
NFL Network’s Aditi Kinkhabwala said that on a pain scale of one to ten, Roesthlisberger is experiencing a nine.
This would be a tough way to end the year for Big Ben who was having one of his best seasons.
No matter who your team is, we all feel a 10 on the pain scale when a player is sidelined with a serious injury…
