I don’t like owing someone $5, so I can’t imagine owing about $500,000! That’s what the NFLPA claims newly acquired Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson owes former agent Drew Rosenhaus.

According to Yahoo.com’s Rand Getlin, Jackson owes this money for unpaid loans and agent fees. Of course, he give the info on Twitter:

Rosenhaus had been seeking $777,793 for loans, interest, credit card charges and insurance premiums from WR DeSean Jackson.

Part of what DeSean Jackson owes to Rosenhaus came in the form of a $375,000 interest-free loan he received from the agent when he signed.

According to Getlin, Rosenhaus isn’t all bad, In fact he’s willing to negotiate and reduce some of the monies owed:
“Of that $375,000, Rosenhaus said he’d forgive $175,000 if [Jackson] allowed him to negotiate his then-upcoming contract with the Eagles.”
Really Drew?! Really?? I just have to laugh. The good new is that Jackson just signed a three-year $24 million contract with the Redskins which includes a $5 million signing bonus. Paying back this money should be easy.
I’m sure there’s more to this story.
