When longtime Buffalo Bills owner Ralph Wilson, Jr. died, it was only a matter of time before those interested in owning the team would come forward. Jon Bon Jovi had expressed interest in owning the team some time ago, but a new man has entered the ring — Donald Trump! Yes, the infamous real estate mogul has said he wants to own the Bills. From cbssports.com:

Trump told the Buffalo News on Monday that not only would he ‘love’ to own the Bills, but he wouldn’t move the team if he bought them. “I’m going to give it a heavy shot,” Trump said of buying the team. “I would love to do it, and if I can do it, I’m keeping it in Buffalo.

Let me start by saying OH HELL NO! Donald Trump would make the worst kind of owner. First of all he’s too emotional. Second, he would use this platform to spew his political views and every post-game press conference would be some long-winded soliloquy about the President’s nationality –or some other B.S. that nobody cares anything about. Third, he’s a sore loser.

The good news is that 75% of the current NFL owners – or 24 would have to approve the sale of the Bills to a new buyer.

Let’s hope they all have good sense.

What do you think?
