Floyd Mayweather Requests Emergency Release From Prison

Tuesday, June 12, 2012

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s had his lawyers file an emergency motion Monday asking that he be able to serve the remainder of his three-month sentence under house arrest.

According to the lawyers, Mayweather’s health is deteriorating by being confined to his cell 23 hours a day and restricted from working out.

The motion filed says that the boxer’s doctor believes the conditions could do irreversible damage to Mayweather’s physique which could take him out of boxing for good.

Mayweather went to jail earlier this month for attacking his ex-girlfriend and mother of his children while the children looked on.

There is no word on when a decision for the motion will be given. I say he should receive it in three months…I’m Just Sayin’.
