For the professional Jersey Girl, watch the game in style!

Jersey Girls, baseball season is thick in the air right now, and if you live in a baseball city or you watch games at the sports bar, this is your season!  From time to time, your boss or client may feel the need to bond with you or the staff and invite you to join him/her in the sky box or favorite bar to watch the game. Oh yes, it happens! So, what do you do? What do you say? And more importantly what do you wear?!  Believe it or not,  you can't just throw on some booty shorts and a wife-beater and go. You also don't want to be over-dressed. You are still with your boss, client and/or co-workers, so actually, this is still work. The goal is to be appropriate for the game and still professional. You want to look smart, trendy and chic. You never want to look like you are trying too hard or like you don’t care. Some key items for this look are wedges, walking shorts, jean jackets and team gear. Wedges are comfortable to stand in, jump and cheer as well as work the room. Just make sure you break them in good and that your feet are manicured.

Walking shorts are perfect for company events because they hide flaws and are slimming. Just make sure they fit you, and PLEASE no butt-cracks showing! Also avoid silky fabrics.

Every now and then it gets a little chilly in those sky boxes or out on the patio of those sports bars, so pack a jean jacket. Go with a lighter fabric. They fold and pack easier. The distressed looked is super trendy right now, but do avoid busy ones as it takes away from the whole "effortless" look.

Last but not least, if you can’t decide what to wear, throw on the hometown team gear, and stay loyal to the hometown team.

Have fun, don’t drink too much and enjoy yourself! Your Jersey Girlfriend, ~Angela Davis
