Former NBA player Robert Swift refuses to leave foreclosed home
This is just NASTY Jersey Girl Sports fam! Former NBA player Robert Swift has locked himself up in his home and refuses to leave the foreclosed property.
Swift, who was drafted out of highschool in 2004 was a favorite, but his game proved to be disappointing. After several stints with teams including the Seattle Supersonics, Swift settled in the Seattle area in the house he bought when he played with the Supersonics.
KOMO News tried to speak with Swift on Wednesday, and a woman who said she was his girlfriend said he couldn’t come out because he was sleeping.
Damn, he has a girlfriend?!!?
The house, which looks like something out of a run-down neighborhood has been foreclosed and the owner wants Swift out. According to Deadspin.com Swift isn’t going anywhere. According to KOMO TV:
“KOMO News tried to speak with Swift on Wednesday, and a woman who said she was his girlfriend said he couldn’t come out because he was sleeping. The new owner has gone to court and, according to records, Swift has gone past his grace period to leave. He has one final deadline at the end of the month. After that, he faces possible eviction by force.”
This scene is just disgusting and bizarre. The weird signs, broken down cars and trash strewn around the property is just sad.
And knowing that he made a little more than $12 million during his short career makes this even more sad.
