From bad to worse: Terrell Owens is once again without a team

It seems Terrell Owens can’t escape his reputation or his bad behavior. T.O.  has been released by the Allen Wranglers Indoor Football League and he also lost his ownership stake in the  team.

According to the team, Owens didn’t plan to play in two upcoming road games with possible playoff implications. Owens also was a no-show for a scheduled appearance at a local children’s hospital with other players and coaches–and it seems that was the last straw. Wranglers owner Jon Frankel said in a statement that T.O. showed a lack of effort both on and off the field. It seems the old T.O. has reared his ugly head.

I don’t know what to say about this. While I still believe Terrell Owens can turn his life around, he’s not using his opportunities to his advantage. His time playing with the IFL could have been a proof of his skill level for an NFL team. instead of trying to disprove he’s a deadbeat dad The Dr. Phil Show he should have been getting help for his personal issues. He never leveraged the opportunity with his reality show and he should have taken time to “be still” and then repair his image.

I truly feel sorry for Terrell Ownens, and for his sake I hope he gets the help he needs before it’s too late. After all, despite what he has done, his daughters deserve a healthy father.
