Get Healthy and Lose the Weight with the 30/30 Fitness Challenge

For many of you there’s not a day that goes by that you don’t think about your weight. This time of year, getting healthy-er or losing weight tops many of our new year resolution lists. We are all looking for that one program that's going to get us back in shape.  I know that I am not excluded from that number; I am guilty of buying books, joining classes or buying DVD sets, like P90X or Insanity,30/30 hoping to knock off the extra pounds that have been weighing me down for years. Well finally I think that I have found something that I believe I can stick to, so I wanted to share it and hopefully it can help you too. I have to credit this 30/30 Challenge to Carla Hardy, one of my high school friends, fitness expert and the owner of Transcendent 360 Health and Fitness in Atlanta. Here’s what you do… For 30 Days, your goal is to complete 30 reps of each exercise. The key is not to skip days. She suggests that you find a buddy, someone who is just as motivated as you are to not only lose the weight but get healthy.  If you feel like you have fallen off here’s the perfect opportunity to get back on a healthy track and watch the results roll in.

You can start the program any day, just as long as you do it for 30 consecutive days, but since this is the first Monday of the month, this is a great opportunity for you to get a fresh start. Throughout the month, I’ll keep you posted on my progress, and I’ll love to hear how you’re doing.
