When you’re at the game, rock the eyes that get you the looks! How about creating a cat eye? This is a very stylish and classy look that everyone can pull off. Suitable for every occasion, whether it is a party or business dinner, this 1950’s cat eye makeup trend has finally flown into the modern high fashion world. If you can master this look you can only add more style to your life.
First apply concealer under the eyes, then take sharp eyeliner or a liquid one with an easy-to-use brush, to draw your line, the sharper to pencil the easier the line.
Then apply the liner and it would be better to do with your eyes open so that you can see how your line will look like. The only thing you will need to do is to make the line as close to the lashes as possible, trying to follow your natural lash line. As you reach the outer corner of the eye, slowly tip the line up, and thicken it a bit. For a natural look, make a thinner line, but for more dramatic look, make your line fatter. You don’t have to draw a line on your bottom lash.
For creating a funky cat eye makeup look, simply apply a cool eyeshadow color over the top of your line towards the brow bone and blend the edges of the eyeshadow and the eyeliner to make the verge invisible. Now this look may not be appropriate for the office but definitely for fun.
If you’d like to accentuate the natural curves of your eyebrows, use an eyebrow pencil. It will make your cat eye makeup more marked. As a finishing stroke, apply volume mascara on both the upper and lower eyelashes to make your glimpse much more expressive. A touch of highlighter in the corners of your eyes and on your brow bone will add a little touch of sparkle.
With any new look it takes practice. Be free, try different eyeliner colors and eyeshadows make this look your own and as always, if you don’t like it, wipe it off. It’s only makeup! Remember, keep it sexy.
