After months of accusations, conversations and speculation, former Penn State defensive football coach, Jerry Sandusky was convicted Friday of sexually assaulting 10 boys over 15 years. After many years of being called a coach at one of the country’s top institutions, Sandusky is now called a convicted child molester.

After two days of jury deliberations Sandusky was found guilty of 45 of 48 counts and is expected to spend the rest of his life in prison.

Prosecutors said Sandusky was a “predatory pedophile” and a “sick, disturbed man,” who targeted “the most vulnerable kids, kids in need.”

Sandusky did not take the stand to testify but his wife Dottie, whom many say knew what was going on for years, took the stand detaching herself and her husband from these crimes. Many now wonder if civil actions will be taken towards her for her role of knowing.

As you can remember, these allegations led to the firing of the late Penn State University president and long-time football coach Joe Paterno, who passed away in January.
