Josh Gordon knocked, but the NFL didn’t open the door; NFL denies Gordon’s reinstatement

It looks like former Cleveland Browns receiver Josh Gordon may be the example. The NFL has denied his request for reinstatement. Gordon checked himself into rehab in September and never returned to the field. He last played for the Browns in September 2014. This is such a sad case. Gordon had plenty of opportunities to make better choices. His talent is undeniable, but his reckless behavior may have cost him an opportunity to use that talent to better his life. He'll have another shot at reinstatement in the Fall. It will be interesting to see what the Browns do. What do you think?
