Julio Jones’ brother loses arm from a gunshot wounds

Julio Jones is a well-known NFL player for the Atlanta Falcons. On Tuesday, his brother Phillip, was shot in the arm, which later had to be removed. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

Phillip Jones, 31, was transported from South Baldwin Urgent Care to another medical center in Alabama before being life-flighted to a hospital in Pensacola, Florida.

Fox 10 TV in Alabama, citing one of his relatives, reported that Jones' arm had to be removed as a result of the shooting.

Gulf Shore PD's preliminary investigation determined that 53-year-old George Bennett Sutton had shot Jones, and he was booked at a Gulf Shore police detention center for felony for first degree assault. The investigation is still ongoing, however.

This is so sad! Who know what the real story is behind the shooting, but I hope it doesn't affect Julio Jones' career. Family matters can be overwhelming to an athlete.
