The things that Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant does never cease to amaze me.

According to CBS Sports’ Royce Young, the Oklahoma City Thunder superstar has donated $1 million to the Red Cross’ Tornado Relief fund.

Unlike some of Durant’s fellow NBA teammates, $1 million isn’t a drop in the bucket for Durant, that million is 5% o his principal salary.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have matched Durant’s donation and have also pledged $1 million to the Red Cross “to aid with disaster relief,” according to Young.

Can’t wait to see what other athletes step-up to the plate to offer assistance.
