When Keyshawn Johnson was arrested for alleged domestic violence, he called the allegations bogus and immediately said he was innocent and it would be proven so.
Apparently he was telling the truth because according to TMZ, the L.A. County District Attorney has rejected the case against the ESPN NFL analyst determining that the arrest was the result of an overreaction by someone who was speaking with Johnson’s girlfriend at the time of their argument.
Johnson did throw the phone, but that was all that was done. His girlfriend sustained a tiny scratch on her finger trying to hold onto the phone. According to police, both Johnson and his girlfriend were surprised when they arrived and neither wanted to press charges. However, Johnson was still arrested.
So there you have it. It was a friend on the phone who heard the argument and called the police.
Just makes you wonder how someone could have an argument and talk on the phone at the same time.
Either way, Johnson is not guilty.
What do you think?
