Kobe, Other NBA All-Stars Are In—LeBron, Melo Are Out

Organizers say Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant and Dwyane Wade are expected to headline an exhibition basketball game in Puerto Rico on Sunday.

According to a press release, the World All-Star Classic also will feature Amare Stoudemire, Blake Griffin, Carlos Boozer, Chris Kaman, Chris Bosh, Dwight Howard, Kevin Garnett, Kevin Love, Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo and Tyson Chandler. However, according to ESPN The Magazine’s Chris Broussard, All-Stars LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul, originally slated to help headline the tour, have decided not to take part. Sources say they opted out to spend more time with their families. While I’m sure many fans are disappointed, you can’t blame a man for wanting to spend time with his family. In fact, the NBA could probably use a little more of that. If the All-Stars come to your city, would you go and see them? Your JGF, Angela
