by Angela Davis| @ladyadavis|@jerseygirlsport LaDainian Tomlinson is now among the elite fraternity of former NFL players with the coveted gold jacket. His induction in the Pro Football Hall of Fame becomes another highlight of his stellar career. In an interview on the Dan Patrick Show, Tomlinson admits he never really thought about making it into the Hall of Fame. LaDainian Tomlinson had one of the most memorable speeches of the night. He paid tribute to his family, his mother and father in particular, and his legacy. He honored his great-great-great grandfather, a slave who was owned by a man with the last name Tomlinson. LaDainian told his story and how he went back to the plantation his great-great-great grandfather lived on an dhow he would ultimately purchase that same land. AMAZING! While Tomlinson may have never thought about making it into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, it seems his ancestor paved the way and set into motion the course that would shape his defendant's destiny.
