They say that a team that plays together, eats together. This Thanksgiving
hopes that's the case since he has offered to host Thanksgiving
dinner in Cleveland for his teammates.
Since the Heat will be on the road and playing in Cleveland on Wednesday night, LeBron and Savannah (LeBron's wife) have opened up the doors of their northeastern Ohio home to the Heat team.
"We would have loved to have been here for the holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas being here in Miami," James said. "We don't mind playing on those holidays. Wish we could have been here, but I am happy that I'm able to do something for the team for Thanksgiving."
The attire of the evening is casual, while a professional chef and Savannah will split cooking duties.
"We're not at home with our families for Thanksgiving but it couldn't work out any better that at least we could be in someone else's home," Miami's Dwyane Wade said. "And it's a very nice home that we're going to, so I'll make sure I'll put on the right clothes and the right socks, gotta-take-your-shoes-off-at-the-door type of house."
I have to say that I would love to be at that table come Turkey Day! Don't forget to tune into ESPN Wednesday night to watch LeBron return to Cleveland as the Miami Heat take on the Cleveland Cavilers.
