Mark Cuban would consider drafting Brittney Griner

The NBA does not have an explicit rule on drafting women or any team signing a woman to their roster. Does that mean the NBA could have a woman playing? It's possible. At least Mark Cuban is considering it.  The Dallas Mavericks owner said he's consider drafting at Baylor University star Brittney Griner, making her the first woman in history to be drafted to the NBA
"You never know until you give someone a chance," Cuban said. "And it's not like the likelihood of any late-50s draft pick has a good chance of making it. If we had tryouts, I would have no problem inviting her to work out and see how she did. No problem whatsoever."
With Mark Cuban, you never know if he's joking or actually considering the possibility.  Still, it's interesting enough to keep us watching. What do you think? Do you think a woman could play in the NBA? Your Jersey Girlfriend, ~Angela Davis
