Miami Heat’s Chris Bosh’s house robbed; Police say it’s an “inside job”
In what turned out to be a not-so-happy-birthday, Chris Bosh returned home to find it robbed. While the Miami Heat center was out celebrating his well-publicized 29th birthday in a Miami Club, his home was being robbed of what’s estimated to be at least $479,000 in jewelry, purses and other goods, but not of his NBA championship ring. (That makes sense. Trying to sell or pawn that ring would be a dead give-away).
According to police, when Bosh and his wife Adrienne returned home, they found it ransacked, but here’s the kicker: they left their children home with housekeepers who claimed they heard nothing.
Get outta here!! Are you kidding me?!?
Police say there was no forced entry, and the closet appears to have been picked over with care. The championship ring stayed, but other jewelry, watches, rings and purses were taken.
“We are leaning on the side of this being an inside job,” said Miami Beach Police spokesman Bobby Hernandez.
So basically while Bosh and his wife were arriving at the Moroccan-themed party via a helicopter and then a yacht with the “who’s-who” of Miami, somebody with access to his home robbed him, and took his valuables.
I’d start with the housekeepers.
