If you don’t get enough of Deion Sanders on the NFL Network, just wait. According to TMZ Sanders is returning to reality TV but on a positive note, to showcase his charter school in Texas.
Sources close to Sanders told TMZ the NFL Hall of Famer is working on a show that will focus on Deion and his work coaching the football team at Prime Academy, the school Deion is opening later this year.
Sanders’ show will also focus on him off the field raising his kids as a single father. The purpose of the show is not to slant negative or bash anyone … such as his ex-wife Pilar.
The show will be executive produced by Tracey Edmonds, the ex-wife of Babyface and Eddie Murphy, who was recently dragged into Deion’s divorce and has produced several shows and movies. Sources close to Deion say he first approached Tracey about the show after he filed for divorce.
Deion and Tracey are working with a major television studio and the show will be officially announced in the next few weeks.
We’ve had an opportunity to meet and interview Sanders both in Atlanta and in Canton, OH, when he was being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame last Fall, and just from meeting him and seeing the dedication that he has to the kids of the Prime Academy says so much about his character. We are excited for Deion and look forward to the opening of the Prime Academy here in Atlanta.
