If you’ve been missing football like I have and have no idea when the lockout is going to end, here’s a great chance to see some of your favorite NFL players, 2011 rookies and celebrities in a game of flag football.

This Friday, May 20th at the UCLA North Athletic Field (located at Sunset Boulevard and Westwood Plaza) from 6pm to 8pm Premiere League Flag Football, will put on a free fan event featuring past and present NFL players, celebrities and 2011 NFL rookies, to kick-off the 2011 NFL PLAYERS Rookie Premier all in partnership with Verizon Wireless, Pepsi and Nike.

Among the football stars and entertainers participating include Hall of Famer Warren Moon; former Super Bowl champions Roger Craig, Willie McGinest (USC), Terrell Davis, Steve Bono (UCLA) and Ryan Nece (UCLA); Arizona Cardinals Pro Bowl WR Larry Fitzgerald; Jacksonville Jaguars Pro Bowl RB Maurice Jones-Drew (UCLA); NFL veterans Curtis Conway (USC) and Jesse Palmer (USC) and many more. And 35 of the top draft picks including Von Miller (Denver), Marcell Dareus (Buffalo), Jake Locker (Tennessee), Blaine Gabbert (Jacksonville), A.J. Green (Cincinnati), Julio Jones (Atlanta), Colin Kaepernick (San Francisco), Andy Dalton (Cincinnati) on hand to meet fans and serve as coaches. Plus celebrities such as Donald Faison (Scrubs, Remember the Titans), Michael Rapaport (Prison Break), Hill Harper (CSI: NY), Josh Henderson (Dallas, 90210), Mike Catherwood (Loveline) and more.
