NFL running back Maurice Jones-Drew joins PETA in “Ink Not Mink” campaign

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew is the latest face of PETA. The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) organization now has the running back on their team to speak out against and push to decrease the demand for fur with this latest Ink Not Mink campaign:

PETA strives to bring awareness to the cruel treatment of animals in the process of making fur. On its website PETA claims:

Every year, millions of animals—including foxes, minks, raccoons, rabbits, chinchillas, and even cats and dogs—are electrocuted, beaten, drowned, strangled, and skinned alive for their fur. In China, the world's largest exporter of fur, there are no penalties for abusing animals on fur farms.
