"We are going to do it right, if we are going to do it. There are different proposals out there and different opportunities. But not one that we are focused on and can say that we have the right solution yet." We've been very open that if we had the right opportunity to be back in Los Angeles with the right formula, meaning a stadium, most importantly, we would love to do that,'' Goodell said. "But it has to be successful.That's very true. Los Angeles is a major sports city and logically would/could serve fans well. So what's the hold up? Well for one thing they need a viable offer and enough land to hold a stadium and parking structure. Right now they don't have that. While it's true some teams could be moved, many of them are focused on updating stadiums of their own. So, for the meantime, the NFL L.A. dream remains just that. It's been more than 20 years since the Rams and the Raiders left Los Angeles and since then there's always been a conversation brewing about whether L.A. really should have an NFL team. Those talks are continuing, but it seems that the NFL can't seem to figure it out or get the right offer to make it a reality.
