by Angela Davis/@jerseygirlsport/@ladyadavis Ladies, football season is done, but we're revving up for the NASCAR season and more basketball, so your game-day gear is ready too! In case you're falling behind and need some wardrobe updates we want to help you get a handle on your game-day attire. Jeans are the universal apparel during any sports season. Men are wearing them and ladies, we are too. However, need to make sure we're wearing our jeans in the right way! Not every cut of jean is made for every shape, so in an effort to minimize fat rolls, butt cracks and muffin tops, we've come up with a list of the best jeans to get you ready for the season. 1. The 'Boyfriend' Jean - These jeans are great for watching the game at home. On lazy days when you're not going out to a sports bar or to the stadium, you can relax in these jeans. They're just as described: loose fitting and comfortable. Pair them with a nice fitted tank with your boyfriend or significant other--and it makes for a nice game day. 2. The Skinny Jean - Although this speaks to the cut of the jean, as described you sort of need to be skinny to wear these the right way. They're designed for people who don't have alot of curves to make them look a little fuller. If you DO have curves, the more hip and booty action you have, the more these jeans make you look like you have. They don't look good on those with square hips or bigger thighs. The skinny jean works great with tunics and loose fitted jerseys. 3. The Straight-Leg Jean - They give you a tapered leg and accentuates your curves. The straight leg jean is very popular. They round-out curves and for those who have more of a pear shape, these jeans can bring balance to your shape. These jeans work great with heels and wedges and work great with your favorite team t-shirt or jersey. 4. The Flared-Leg Jean - If you have more of an "apple" shape, that is, you tend to gain weight or be heavier in your mid-section, then ladies the flared-leg jean is your friend! It brings balance to your shape and pulls the eye and flow away from your mid-section. They also make you look leaner and longer. A fitted pair of these jeans work great with a jacket or long-sleeved t-shirt. Either way, you'll look great! 5. Regular cut/fit jeans- When you're not looking for a flared, straight or tapered leg, a regular pair of jeans will do. They have a classic fit and they sit at the waist. They are the "every-girl" jean and even if you favorite or particular style, these jeans tend to look good on everyone. Whatever your favorite pair of jeans or however you like to rock them on game day, do it right! Every cut is not made to fit every shape, so be honest with yourself about your body. No one wants to be visually assaulted by a girl in the wrong pair of jeans, but EVERY ONE likes to see a confident women who rocks the jeans and makes them her own!
