Seahawks’ Browner and Sherman Facing Suspension After Violating NFL Drug Policy
ESPN is reporting that Seahawk's cornerbacks Brandon Browner and Richard Sherman are facing a four-game suspension for violating the League's policy on performance enhancing drugs.
The NFL's policy is not to comment on outstanding cases; however according to the NFL website, Gregg Rosenthal is reporting Browner and Sherman are accused of taking Adderall.
Both players are proclaiming innocence and appealing the decision. If true the cornerbacks would be the fourt and fifth Seahawks to be suspended for violating the League' s drug policy and testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs in the past year.
Sherman took to Twitter, tweeting
"This issue will be resolved soon and the truth will come out. Not worried."
He may not be, but I guarantee this death blow to the Seahawk's playoff hopes worries the organization. Seattle is locked in a race with Tampa Bay (6-5) for an NFC wild-card spot.
Walter Thurmond and Byron Maxwell would most likely be the replacements......... Don't even get me started on replacements...........
