Steve Jobs: The Legacy of a Life Well Lived

We’re not going to try to recount all of the innovations in technology that Steve Jobs brought to our lives, nor are we going to discuss how death affects us all in different ways, but we do want to say thank you! Each day a businessman dies who brought something special to his company, but Steve Jobs didn’t just bring us something new he brought innovation, he brought us creativity, he brought us the lesson that if you dream big enough you can achieve anything. It’s great to have something on this Earth , but will your legacy continue on after you are gone. Steve devoted his life to giving us (you, me and a billion other people) the most powerful devices ever available, which ultimately changed the world in not only music and entertainment, but also education, medicine and business. Thank you Steve Jobs for leading by example and showing us that one person can change the Universe. In 2005, Jobs gave the Commencement address at Stanford University. In his address he said, “Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” Jobs concluded the address by saying “Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish”! 4. So, farewell then Steve Jobs. You were the Apple of many an eye. His death wasn’t exactly unexpected but the reality has still come as a shock to many, judging from the heartfelt tributes evident on many sites. The thing that stays with me most about him is he said, like others, you have to love what you do. That’s what I’ll remember about him.
