There’s nothing worse than a begging man and T.O. is definitely fitting the bill.
After the aging wide receiver received his last pink slip from the Seattle Seahawks he’s been sitting by the phone waiting for it to ring. Since the phone has rung, I guess T.O. has decided that he was going to make the first move.
After the New York Jets lost to the undefeated Houston Texans on Monday Night Football, T.O. made it known that he was still looking for work.
The wide receiver tweeted,
"Hey JETS!!! I'm available! I'm ready, willing & able! Call my agent @jordanwoy & let's make it happen."
Last week, Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum told the Star Ledger
that he was looking for a player who was "speedy, younger than 30 and someone who took part in training camp," to fill Holmes' spot on the roster. Ok, well T.O. fits 1 out of the 3.
I just want to go on record and say that I believe that T.O.’s playing days are over. If the Jets wanted him, they would know where to find him. This is just getting to be more pathetic.
