wanted to make sure I pointed that out) women are in love with the game of football.  With over 45 million women watching NFL games each week, the NFL is the favorite among women. Now with anything there are those that are addicted when it comes to the sport of football. Let’s take me for example, I believe I am a man’s dream, I wake-up to the NFL Network, I go to bed to it, but most importantly I also know what I’m talking about, and I talk major shit about my favorite team or player. Then there are those of you who watch the games in passing. You know a couple of terms, you’re up on the basic knowledge, and you do know how to sit down and enjoy a good game. Then there are those of you have no idea what the hell is going on. LeBron James: Free Agency, Twitter, A TV Special, Oh My!

Well if you’ve been living under a rock, I can honestly say that watching the free agency antics of LeBron James traveling from team to team is like a pimp looking for his next “employees” has without a doubt been entertaining.  

Before the free agency period started you had owners like Mark Cuban get slapped with a $100,000 fine for just talking about his desire to have LeBron play for his Dallas Mavericks.  Then you had players like Dwayne Wade (still of the Miami Heat) putting together a ‘free agency summit’ with various top free agents coming together to discuss their plan of attack. Unfortunately those plans fizzled when players took a real hard look at what they could be possibly giving up when partnering with others on their same level if not higher; the mean green

2010 NFL Draft Wrap-Up…and It Was a Good One

The 2010 NFL Draft was the 75th annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible football players. Unlike previous years, the 2010 draft took place over three days, at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, with the first round on Thursday, April 22, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. EDT. The second and third rounds took place on Friday, April 23 starting at 6:00 p.m. EDT, while the final four rounds were held on Saturday, April 24, starting at 10:00 a.m. EDT. Coverage was provided by both NFL Network and ESPN. The St. Louis Rams, as the team with the worst record during the 2009 season, selected quarterback Sam Bradford with the first pick. Three of the top four picks were members of the Oklahoma Sooners football team, and five of the top six were from the Big 12 Conference. The prime time broadcast of the first round was watched by 7.29 million viewers making it the most viewed first round ever and making ESPN the second most watched network of the night. (more…)
