Welll I have to say it’s about time!
Michael Vick has signed his first endorsement contract since his release from prison.
The Philadelphia Eagles’ Pro Bowl quarterback inked a two-year contract with Unequal Technologies, a provider of the football pads Vick wore last season.
The deal will be announced on Thursday.
Chief executive officer Rob Vito says Vick is the company’s first corporate spokesman. Vick was once the NFL’s highest-paid player and he endorsed many products during his six seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. But Vick lost everything following his 2007 arrest on dogfighting charges, for which he served 18 months in federal prison.
He returned to the NFL in 2009 with the Eagles, and worked his way from a seldom-used third-string quarterback to the key cog on a division-winning team. He will start for the NFC in the Pro Bowl this weekend.

On Sunday, the latest 15 modern-era players and contributors were named finalists for the 2011 NFL Hall of Fame class, joining a pair of senior nominees on the ballot. The Hall’s selection committee will vote on this year’s class on Feb. 5, 2011 in Dallas, a day prior to the Super Bowl.
For a nominee to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, he must earn 80 percent of the committee’s vote.
Jerome Bettis, Marshall Faulk, Curtis Martin, Willie Roaf and Deion Sanders — all in their first year of Hall of Fame eligibility — were among the finalists. The complete list of 2011 Hall finalists include: (more…)

No matter where I am, whether it’s the elevator, the gym, the mall, I’ve noticed that we have an addiction and it’s not pretty.  BlackBerry, Android, iPhone, it doesn’t matter, they are everywhere! So since we can’t rid ourselves of our addiction, we might as well find a way to embrace it.
