Terrell Owens will face-off against ‘baby-mamas’ on Dr. Phil

Terrell Owens will defend his 'deadbeat dad'  image on Dr. Phil tomorrow facing off with the three women who are the mother's of his children. In an interview with CBS This Morning, Dr. Phil McGraw said Owens was not ambushed. He knew what was coming.

"He says he wants to set the record straight. He wants to tell people he's not the person the media has depicted him of being," McGraw said. He then added, "I'm not sure he made a lot of progress with these women."

The women, known as Monique, Kimber and Melanie all say he's delinquent on his child support payments and that he has little to no relationship with his children.

Terrell Owens has stated in interviews that most of the $80 million he earned in the NFL was either poorly invested or squandered. He also said that he can't see his children because of his travel schedule and because they live in different cities, according to a press release from CBS. WTH? I know that T.O. is trying to improve his public image, but this may have been the wrong move. Most of Dr. Phil's demographic and viewers are women and they are not too compassionate to multi-millionaires who don't take care of their responsibilities. His reasons behind his lack of a relationship with his children is pretty sad--and unacceptable. The flip side to this is that these women slept with T.O. and got pregnant outside of the covenant and protection of marriage. YES, marriage does provide some protection, especially to the children.  So while I'm sympathetic to their cause for their children, their personal hardship has me void of feelings. The real people suffering are the children who are missing out because two consenting adults thought only of their selfish needs. Whatever happens, T.O. is sure to cry---again. What do you think?
