According to a new book written by two reporters with the Wall Street Journal, Sheryl Crow saw Lance Armstrong doping during their relationship when he was racing. The book reads:

“Rather than try to hide the transfusion from her, Armstrong was completely open about it,” the authors write. “He trusted that Crow would have no desire to tell the press or anyone else about the team’s doping program. He explained that it was simply part of the sport – that all cyclists were doing the same thing.”

The two broke-up and in 2011 Crow cooperated when the Food and Drug Administration criminal investigator was looking into Armstrong’s then alleged use.

We now know it’s true, and while that is news, it is interesting to know all the people involved who had direct knowledge of his use. It’s amazing it’s taken so long to finally get the proof and the vindication.

I wonder how many other women know about PED use of their significant others. How many really don’t know, and how many choose to stay silent.

What do you think?
