To wear or not to wear? Stilettos for NFL teams could be a “flag on the play” or a touchdown
I’m all about sports fashion. I firmly believe women who watch sports can (to paraphrase Steve Harvey), “enjoy the game like a man and look like a woman”. However, there are some caveats to this. Sports fashion should still follow fashion rules, and keep female sports fans connected to the game.

To wear or not to wear, this is the question as it relates to how “sexy” women can and/or should be when going to games. Usually the tops and bottoms aren’t the issue. It’s the shoes! High heel, low heel or no heel can be tricky, and ultimately it depends on how you handle it. We found these shoes from Tommy Terrifics on Facebook. What do you think? Would you wear them to a game?
I wouldn’t. Not because they’re not cute and not because they aren’t sexy. I wouldn’t wear them because the walk from the car to dome (I live in Atlanta) can be long. I like comfort and I’m an ACTIVE fan! I jump around, scream–do alot of moving. I would wear them to a sports bar and perhaps a tailgate. I see alot of women in shoes like this and many look uncomfortable. By the end of the game they’re wearing flats or walking barefoot.
Still there are alot of women who enjoy these shoes; they wear them often and move graciously.
So, to answer the question, I would say it’s a woman’s choice. Be mindful of the venue, your comfort level and what you communicate.
