UCLA players likely to face house arrest, not jail time in shoplifting scandal

by Angela Davis|@jerseygirlsport |@ladyadavis Jersey Girl Sports fam the three UCLA players, one of which is LiAngelo Ball, will likely face house arrest, not jail time for shoplifting in a Louis Vouitton store in Hangzhou, China.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, instead of jail time they'll likely have house arrest for 20 days and served in the hotel where they are staying. The players will also not be permitted to visit the country again. This is so embarrassing and sad. Yes, they are young players, but this behavior is unacceptable. I'm glad they're getting punished, and for LiAngelo, this will definitely compromise his personal stock in the NBA, and the Big Baller Brand--at least for right now. His father, the notorious Lavar Ball, has been expectedly quiet. I'm sure he's seething, ready to put a foot up LiAngelo's a** for this stupidity. The school is cooperating with authorities. What do you think should happen to them when they return to UCLA?
