Jersey Girl Sports fam, when you're under investigation by the NFL
for alleged domestic violence, it's smart to be on your best behavior. Someone should have told Ezekiel Elliot this, because he was caught on video pulling down a woman's top during a St. Patrick's Day parade, exposing her breasts.
Apparently he was hanging out on a rooftop of a Dallas bar watching the parade when the woman on the roof started flirting with the crowd motioning with her breasts. He grabbed her shirt, exposed her breast and then attempted again before she hit his hand to stop him. She then teased the crowd with her cleavage.
According to Elliot's spokesman it was all in good fun and the woman wasn't upset ... and actually hung out with Zeke and a group of friends after the parade ended.
While the act may not be criminal, it's certainly stupid, especially when the NFL is investigating you for claimes you committed five acts of domestic violence over a six-day period. He may not be handled legally, but I expect the NFL will definitely address this issue.
Remember what Roger Goodell
said in reference to Ben Roethlisberger?
My decision today is not based on a finding that you violated [the] law,” Goodell told Roethlisberger. “[Y]ou are held to a higher standard as an NFL player, and there is nothing about your conduct . . . that can remotely be described as admirable, responsible, or consistent with either the values of the league or the expectations of our fans. . . . Your conduct raises sufficient concerns that I believe effective intervention now is the best step for your personal and professional welfare.”
It'll be interesting to see the NFL's response to this latest incident.
What do you think?
