WWGD? What will Goodell do? That's the question before the NFL now that women's groups and outcry from the public has gotten louder about Ezekiel Elliott. When a video was released showing Elliott pulling down a woman's shirt
and exposing her breasts to a crowd at a St. Patrick's Day parade, it was only a matter of time before women's groups would weigh in.
And they did. Shaunna Thomas,
co-founder of UltraViolet, an organization dedicated to fighting sexism and promoting women's rights
says Elliott committed a crime and is calling on the NFL to suspend him.
The reality is that what happened in that video was sexual assault, period."
This will be a telling moment. With just about half of the NFL fanbase compromised of women, it's important that the NFL send out a consistent message with its response. Given the fact that Zeke is also being investigated for an alleged case of domestic violence, this action couldn't have come at a worse time.
What do you think?
