It’s official Twitter is the place to hash out all feuds and athletes are not exempt. The latest has former New York Giant & Kelly & Michael co-host, Michael Strahan in one corner, and Class of 2013 Hall of Famer and NFL Network analyst Warren Sapp in the other.

The drama started when Sapp was doing an interview with WDAE Tampa and made reference to the Hall of Fame selection committee possibly picking Sapp over Strahan, and how there would have been no contest.

“Say if I rewind this to Saturday at 12 o’clock me and you are sitting and I say, ‘It breaks down whatever and whatever and then you have Michael Strahan and me. C’mon, the menace and the media darling,’” Sapp said. “C’mon. Madness, or Good Morning America? I mean, c’mon.”

Last Saturday during the Super Bowl Festivities, Warren Sapp was selected first ballot to be inducted as the Class of 2013 into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, along with Chris Carter, Bill Parcells and others; Stranhan was not selected.

Stanhan responded via Twitter to Sapp’s comments…

@WarrenSapp You never cease to amaze me! Enjoy your moment. You don’t need to take a shot at me to justify yourself to other people. #class

The two former players have a feuding history that goes back to their playing days.
